The CAiiA-STAR group (approx, 15- 20 persons) will be hosted for ten days in Perth 31 July through 9 August inclusive. The group to give a public symposium on their work which we will organise as part of the larger Biennale of Electronic Arts Perth (BEAP). The symposium would also include local and national artists.
CAiiA-STAR is a world-wide research community whose innovative structure involves collaborative work and supervision both in cyberspace, regular meetings in the UK and abroad. It combines, as an integrated research platform, CAiiA, the Centre for Advanced Inquiry in the Interactive Arts at University of Wales College Newport, and STAR, the Science Technology and Art Research centre in the University of Plymouth UK.
